As of 2008 Shaye's Rabbitry will no longer be selling English Lops under the age of 16 weeks.
At 16 wks of age I will be able to tell alittle more about Ears and body type.
This way I can be sure they can make the show table requirements and you're getting Good Show/Breeding stock.
November-5th  I received an e-mail from Margaret Potter.
It seems she has found my B.O.V. Award, mistakenly it ended up with the Compart Family, easily done since the award do not
designate Open or youth. Thanks Margaret for Helping me out.
The Compart Family will be snail mailing my award to me.
I received my B.O.V. Award in the mail. It arrived safe and sound.
"THANKS COMPART FAMILY"
Well, it's been a sad week around Shaye's Rabbitry.
I lost OMM's Corriander.
It's Believed that she suffered a heart attack.
She had no signs of anything other then rapid breathing and within an hour she died.
Corriander was my favorite in the rabbitry. (shhhhh- don't tell the others)
She will be Greatly missed!

Well, the Rabbit show went very good. It was nice to there. But Hearting Breaking at the same time. But I had to be there for Corriander's sake.
This showing of English Lop was small, not as many as normal. I held my own. Corrainder's Half brother Balsam got a B.O.V. - He is starting to do
well on the tables. Plus, I got him ready to be Registered. He was pouty about being tattooed, he did not like it at all.
I also picked up one Purdy E-lop -Sable Junior Doe -THANKS JENNY! I do Love her! She's such a Sweetie!
I also got 2 Black Himalayan - Mini Rex from Marget. I can't wait to breed these into my Sable points. And the more I look at the Himi's ; I'm
thinking Hummm... Those are some Good looking Rabbits..  LOL..
